Buying myself Christmas presents this year

Just as the title states really, last Christmas was spent living with my cheating ex husband because he couldn't move out which was awful! This year its just me and DS (nearly 9) and I'm going to treat myself, because why not! Ive just bought myself some jeans to put away and wrap up 'from santa'.
Any ideas I could add to the Xmas list?
What's on yours?

Perfume for me. Was there anything he hated you having? Get a shit ton of that

In the past I’ve bought myself
fancy bath stuff
candles (neom etc)
expensive skin care
chocolates
tea
wine etc
Basically nicer versions of things I use anyway that make me feel like I’m being pampered

I’ve done it for years - ever since I got rid of my ex!

usually things like nice bath/shower stuff, body lotion, pj’s, a DVD and the occasional handbag! Oh and champagne and chocolate!

same for my birthday

when my kids were little they’d get upset that I had nothing to open

This will be my first Christmas in my own home too and was toying with the idea of doing this. Due to lack of funds it might just be prettier oven gloves or something that's practical but prettier or colour co-ordinated or just not broken. It will be nice to have nice things again 🤗

Edit - I agree with Bashful. Just bought my first dishwasher at the grand age of 60(ish) because I wasn't "allowed" one. Get what you weren't allowed or looked down at.

My Pets have always been very generous with my birthday and Christmas presents 😆

In your shoes I would do myself a stocking. If you see anything throughout the year that you'd like, can afford but don't strictly "need" then I would buy it and put it straight into a stocking under your bed or at the back of your wardrobe. Hopefully you'll forgotten everything you bought by Christmas Day and can have a lovely surprise!

On my Christmas list this year is:

Rituals shower foam

Bath bombs

Stud earrings

An electric wax melter with an auto shut-off timer

Books

A nicer than average bottle of wine

New pyjamas

Eye mask for sleeping

A box of M&S walnut whips (because they're my favourite!)
