Amazon Prime day: what are you buying?

I have my eye on a hairdryer and a CCTV camera, but I would really like a few ideas on something a bit more fun, like skin care or clothing. Any tips? And what are you buying this time round if you're an Amazon shopper?

a couple of cases of Coke Zero, the prime deal made it cheaper than Tesco

I went down the list of my prior orders, looked at what was on a good sale that I would need to reorder in the next few months like toiletries or stationery and picked out some items at a a good discount. On the app you can see price history for last 30 and 90 days to check if a genuinely low price for Amazon.

I got some electrolyte tablets in bulk and a conditioner that was half price. Things that I was looking out for like the coffee beans that I like have been cheaper on previous occasions so didn’t bother. It doesn’t seem this great this time around bargain wise.

I did get the new Mario Lego for my Mario obsessed partner for his Christmas as it was the cheapest. I did a price comparison and the only place I’ve seen match the cheapest price is Costco and my membership has ran out. Delivery is December so that works out well.

Nothing. I also sit on the moral high ground and haven't used Amazon for years.
Sorry for spoil sporting your thread, I can't let an Amazon thread pass without comment though.

Same here. I stopped buying from Amazon a few years ago. I don't even buy anything on Kindle.

same, stocked up on the stuff I use like cat litter, qv gentle wash, multivitamins. And bought some windscreen wipers. The excitement is killing me!

I stopped buying from them. I’m the early days they did brilliant deals on books but I’m done.

We got a new iPad that we’ve been shopping around for, an iron, toilet roll, refurbed Apple Watch and a few other household bits. Always check the previous price option on the app to make sure it is actually lower priced.

I got the Ninja knife block which we did actually need. Was tempted by a few other things like an IPL device but resisted.
