Places to Eat Near the Barbican

Anyone know of any decent places to eat near the Barbican…… Only snag is it’ll be a Sunday and 4/5 of the party aren’t wanting a roast!!

How near is near? Spitalfields isn't far away, lots of options there

Barbie Green? 2 London Wall Place, Barbican EC2Y 5AU

There is a Cote just over the road or The Jugged Hare on Chiswell Street is decent for meat eaters. Apulia on Long Lane is short walk and does great Italian food. There is loads of choice around Liverpool Street - about 15 min walk

St John? Requires some advance booking though.

Smiths in Smithfield’s good and Butcher’s Hook & Cleaver does a great pie!

I ate at Boxhall City for dinner before I went to the Barbican a couple of weeks ago, was only about 15 mins walk to the venue afterwards.

Highly recommend Baked Bird!
