Recommend me a leakproof sturdy lunchbox (metal?)

My son usually takes a filled barm/roll, some fruit, and either a snack such as a sausage roll/cheese and crackers etc, or a slice of cake. Sometimes he has a random fridge salad in the same box (sometimes a hot meal but then I use a Built food flask).

His current Sistema plastic one is not quite deep enough for a whole piece of fruit so I end up slicing things, which is fine but if I'm doing that I want a compartment that doesn't leak! Also the compartments themselves are tiny, and not moveable/changeable, so I generally can't fit everything in there anyway.

I'm thinking metal might be more hard-wearing and practical (as long as it's not too heavy) so my ideal would be:

  • Metal body but maybe plastic lid so we can see at a glance either it's empty or not.
-Leakproof, for when I give him things like watermelon etc
  • Moveable internal dividers
  • Deep enough for e.g. an apple or pear
  • Not too heavy
-A folding metal spork might be handy but we do have plastic ones he can take. -Ok for the dishwasher ideally

Does anyone have one they're wedded to?!

The ikea ones with the clear plastic lids are brilliant

You can get ones with internal dividers too but I couldn’t see them online

I think that would work really well actually @CountFucula, thank you! We live ages from an IKEA but will add it to the list...
