That's it really, wondering if there's a Cat cafe in Manchester and if so, where it is? 🐱

Google is your friend but as you've asked here: YABU to want to visit a cat café. Animals aren't toys.

Please don't visit, even if there is one. It must be horribly stressful for the cats. RSPCA and Cats Protection have called for them to be phased out.

Oh really? I honestly didn't think this would be allowed to happen if it was stressful for the cats. I can't abide using animals for entertainment, I don't even go to zoos, ever, but I thought this was a way for rescue cats to have human contact, and for humans who cannot have cats to be able to pet one? Like I genuinely thought it was mutually beneficial.

One of mine would love a job at a cat cafe!

There used to be one but it closed down, and I don’t think the new one is open yet. There’s CuppaPug if you like pugs.

Cats generally aren't suited to these environments and it's very stressful for them. I've been to a few but soon realised it's basically a cat zoo.. they should be banned. Please reconsider visiting one.
