Be honest - what’s your average phone screen time this week?

Mine is averaged at 4h 55m and that’s not as bad as some weeks. I assumed I was at an extreme end but I was watching Educating Yorkshire last night and one kid had an AVERAGE of over 15 hours.

I am wondering what is average nowadays across adults. So what is yours?

7 hours ish , which is terrible , but quite often i’m scrolling aimlessly whilst watching the tv, it’s a bad habit that a need to break 🙈

Mine is quite high, but it includes spotify and bbc sounds which i have on in the background most days and also google maps so most isnt from scrolling (i like to think - possibly naively! - that this is why the education yorkshire student's was so high!)

I too scroll while watching TV and then with those double screens and I fail to engage with either properly. I need to sort that out. I think I scroll for about 30 mins when I first wake up as I wake up early than most. 30 mins on commute to work and 30 mins on way home. 90mins each while watching evening TV and about 30 mins when I go to bed. The rest is doing proper stuff like banking and emails. I hate it but can’t seem to stop.
