Revolut 16-17 year olds

Does anyone have this for their 16/17 year old.

I have a Revolut card and she had the kids card but wasn't able to log in.

When she sets up her own account, will she be using my login? All I can see at the moment is that she needs to download the app.

I'd rather that there was no access to view my spending or see my account.

Long difficult story, but she's gone to live with her Dad and I don't want either of them to have access to my (lack of) finances.

At the moment I top up her account for bus fares, food and clothes. I can see where she is spending, but I think we should separate the account if possible.

Hope that makes sense!

I have the <18 account for my dd attached to my account. She can't see my account at all, she uses her own log in and can only see her own dashboard

Ive just opened a Revolut card in my name but for use for my 17 year old for college related spends only. He has a current account but keeps going overdrawn as he sets up subscriptions etc. so Im not prepared to pay bus fare etc into it.
We have just added it to his Google wallet.l (virtual card only). I want to be able to see what is being spent, and couldn't find a better way of doing it.

Thank you, this is what I was I was wondering. That all sounds good. Fingers crossed!

Can I ask, when you first set it up - it asks them to download the app. Do they create their own log in etc from there?

Thank you again.

I'm the opposite, I have no interest in what she spends her money on.

Also some clothes sites will want me to approve the transaction and often I'll be in bed if she's up late on a weekend.

I'd rather she had a separate account.

In that case can't she just have a current account?

Hohofortherobbers · 30/09/2025 16:42

Yes, as I recall she was sent a link when I set the account up to download the app and create her own log in. She definitely can't access my account from it but I can access hers. I can block her card, take money from her, set spending limits, deny atm withdrawals, full control and I get instant notifications on her actions. What and where she's spent
