Birmingham utilita -places to eat?

We’re going to a concert at Birmingham utilita arena. Usually go to AO Manchester and have our routine with places to eat, hotel etc.
Not familiar with around the utilita arena, but from online it looks like there’s plenty of places to eat / drink before the concert. Are we likely to need to make a reservation or are there enough places to just turn up on the day and choose where we fancy? Any recommendations? Thanks 🙏

I’d make a reservation. It’s usually busy on gig nights.

Ok thanks. Is it all close by? There’s loads of choice near AO Manchester within walking distance. Is it the same near the utilita arena?

Loads of choice nearby, all with walking distance around the canal. I also would book.
If you've booked parking at the arena, go for a drink after the gig, or take a book - it can be a real pita when leaving.
