What's the best way to ship a PC?

DS recently moved to another part of the UK with the promise his PC would follow him.

I thought it would be just a matter of strategically placed bubble wrap, cardboard and tape. So I went on the internet to learn how best to wrap it and it turns out way more complicated than I thought.🤯

Has anyone else done it?
Were you successful?
How?

Would it be an idea to fly him over then back with a seat for it?

Is it a lost cause?😭

Which part of the UK has he moved to and from? And why is it more complicated than packing it up and getting a courier?

I'm in NI, he's in England.

Apparently I have to open the PC up. Remove the CPU and the fans. Wrap them separately. Tape up the glass bits and stuff the tower

All before packing it up and shipping it.
