Hey depends what he's into. The Lego site do some for all ages but they can be very expensive. My DP likes motorbike and car Lego and we have them up on a shelf. My ds is 18 and still likes Lego mainly superheroes. If you know what he's into you can look on eBay or vinted some people sell them on there cheap.

You can buy light kits. Google them.

As for what sets, it depends what he likes.

My DS2 (18) collects Star Wars, Harry Potter, Marvel, Ninjago and One Piece mainly.

My Mum (65) loves the flowers and Marvel sets. She also has the Sanderson House.

My Grandad (91) collects random things. He has Tower Bridge, London phone box, concord, a Lighthouse (which lights up). A big digger (?)
