Hit me with your 7 year old party presents

Youngest DC is in year 2, so everyone starts to turn 7. I’ve bought all sorts of things over the years for gifts for friends - kites and lego and pop up books and games and everything in between - but I’m looking for inspiration .. also I can’t remember who has had what over the years.

what present has your child received from a friend for party that they’ve really loved aged 7?

my stipulations are: things that require little input from the parent, no cash, around about £10. A little under is always good.

Scentos pen sets
The legami erasable pens seem universally popular
Smiggle - water bottles and pencil cases to preferred theme of party child
Sparkly/tactile notepads
Craft kits
Science kits
Games such as Dobble or a board game
Those soft footballs that are allowed on school playgrounds
Big water shooters
Lego in appropriate theme

DS2 loves the big bag of sugary lollipops

I always get a football! All of DS’ friends love football. They always like a new ball, between losing them or them getting grotty in the garden.

Big pot of bouncing putty goes down well too!
