I am looking for things to do in Autumn with kids 4 yo and 1 yo. I would love to do some activities with them as I am working only half of the week and running out of ideas.

Pretty much the same you do usually but in warmer clothes!

Are you looking for paid for activities or just for hints to do at home and out and about? What do they already do?

I find I have a better day if I go to a class or activity of some kind in the morning. Then playing at home or out in the afternoon is easier.

We have really enjoyed making chocolate conkers since my children were little . I’ll find the recipe

Go out and collect conkers. There are loads about ATM.

Gonforcaxwalk and look at the colour of the leaves and take photos as they change from green to o yellow to orange then red.

Go for a walk in a woods or park and look for squirrels.

Soon you will be able to start looking out for Xmas decorations. So looking for the first Rudolph or the first Xmas tree up.

Take them out for a hot chocolate with marshmallows.

You could also buy some Xmas stampers from Hobbycraft and in November you could start making Xmas decorations. My kids when they were little used to love the strips that you lick at one end to make a ring and make a long string of them to hand up in the house.
