Anyone decorate for Halloween?

We are in the UK and my little one loves Halloween so we love to decorate, their bedroom, downstairs and the front garden. We've got inflatables etc. The same for Christmas, these are the best months! Does anyone else in the UK especially enjoy decorating for Halloween? And when do you start? I know its not a big thing over here and obviously I wouldn't bother like I do if my child didn't love it so much. Just intrested I suppose if anyone else enjoys these simple things haha

Yes i really enjoy marking the change of seasons with Halloween and Easter .
We do a more gentle primitive Halloween with pumpkins ,cats ,bats witches and brooms. Absolutely no slasher stuff or blood and gore.

We have decorated the whole house, including outside, for autumn and will add specific Halloween decorations closer to Halloween. We have a Halloween party every year. 🎃 👻 🍂

We don’t decorate as we live on a farm down a long driveway, 3 miles away from the nearest village / hamlet so no trick or treaters ever come here. However I love seeing the houses in the village all decorated, and we do carve pumpkins with our children and put those beside our woodburner when it’s lit, for a few evenings in the run up to Halloween. I have got some fabric pumpkins that a friend made me, and I put those along the kitchen dresser during October but that’s more of an autumnal thing than specifically Halloween.

we put lights up at Christmas around the side and front of the house, again no-one else really sees them but they are on a timer so it’s all jolly when we come in after sports training in the evenings.

With the sudden onset of chillier weather, I have tried to embrace the change in season with an autumnal theme, not necessarily Halloween (kids are older teens now and we don’t get trick or treaters). I’ve decorated the mantel piece with autumn leaf light up garlands and such. Looks nice of an evening with the log burner going.

Yes I do.
In the last house we lived in before taking on a pub, we were the house to visit. Even during lockdown we still decorated and got dressed up. We put sweets on the fence for people too.
I'm worse now I have a pub, drive my DH mad! I already have a costume sorted for this year, love Halloween.
I'm even worse at Christmas.
