Stopping Smoking - Prescription Tablets

Just looking to see if anyone has experience of trying to stop smoking with any of the tablets prescribed by NHS - Varenicline/Cytisine/Bupropian?

I like smoking, but know I need to stop (mainly for my bank balance!). I don’t really want to try a switch to vaping as I don’t want to replace one form with another. I don’t get on well with gum or lozenges, they make me feel sick (slight sensory issues, especially re chewing gum). And I’m aware enough of myself re willpower alone.

Just interested to hear success stories, plus any downsides etc. Basically, the good, bad and ugly! I’ve got to complete a link questionnaire from my GP surgery before hopefully getting an appointment to discuss and am just interested in some real life feedback. This is a pretty big step for me to even be considering stopping!

Just read The Only Way To Stop Smoking Permanently by Alan Carr. Worked for me and around 10 friends. I didn’t even want to stop!

Thank you. I’ve read it twice, it just doesn’t seem to “click” with me which is annoying.
