What’s been your peak laziness today?

ive just had a whoosh delivery for Hargen Daz and Revels because it’s raining

Teens were being hyped up and difficult so I declined to make dinner and instead offered them the opportunity to mm ake peanut butter on toast or go to the shop and buy something to make themselves. I opted for toast.

I had chocolate and crisps for lunch and dinner because I’d had a really busy morning and couldn’t be bothered making myself food.
I did however cook lunch and dinner for DC, so it’s doubly ridiculous I didn’t throw something in the oven for myself.

Right now right this minute this is my peak of laziness today.
Sat here with a post dinner goblet of wine, enjoying the way it looks and smells and tastes.
Netflix on, feet up on a big cushion on the sofa.
H beside me, dog curled up at my feet; although tbh I wouldn't say no to a tub of Haagen-Dazs Pralines and Cream beside me too!

I left for work later than I should have l. I'm near a train station entrance.
Just took a taxi instead.

Wore trainers without socks to walk to the shops.
I refused to attend choir practice because of neck pain (and rehearsals are extremely slow sometimes).

I could you, but it would take too much effort... 💤

I got DH to drive me to a job so I didn't have to faff about finding parking 😂

I was lounging around in my dressing gown for most of the morning. After lunch I headed up to have a shower, but my teen was just about to go in, so I lay around and faffed about on my phone for another hour before going in. He was only in there for about ten minutes.

We had a "tea party" and used paper plates and cups for dinner tonight, 5yo DD was thrilled and no washing up for me. Win win

I’m supposed to be tidying all the clean laundry away as my dad is coming to stay tomorrow (there’s loads of it, I can’t even see over the pile) but I’ve put it all in a big blue Ikea bag and lobbed it into the cupboard.

I’ve been on my own with three year old DS today and have played so much Ben and Holly (quick! Big people! I’m an elf!’) taken him to the trampoline park, done ‘mummy look at this! Look! Mummy look at me!’ 1097 times since 6:30am, he’s ’helped’ me make a shepherds pie and I’m frazzled. Fuck the laundry 🤣

DH ordered pizza for dinner, instead of us cooking the spaghetti bolognaise we planned.

I haven't bothered hoovering. I usually hoover daily as the cat litter spreads everywhere, but I just have no energy today.

Had a nap and made family video calls instead of doing any of the things that need doing. Procrastinating at its finest.

I got up at 12.30 and didn’t shower or get dressed till 2.30.

Sat on the sofa for a couple of hours with my little 11 week old kitten on my lap. She was semi feral when I got her two weeks ago and it took a while to gain her trust so I enjoyed every moment.

I’m still not dressed. It’s looking very unlikely now.

We have had two (unexpected but very welcome) guests pop in for tea today which makes the above even worse… 😂
