Can anyone identify this Indesit oven/hob so I can find an instruction manual?

I've tried Google Lens without much success - I'm trying to help dd1 in uni accommodation in London so a bit far to pop round to faff & figure out myself! Neither her, nor her flatmates can work it out & she says it's taking forever to cook a single persons serving of pasta.

Thanks!

The serial number will be inside the oven, get her to open the door and look at the edges of the door or on the front of the oven which is revealed when the door is opened. That should help her find it.

@sixeightfive that's where I told her to look. She says there isn't a sticker.

So the hob is an old solid ring electric. She may just not be familiar with something that inefficient. I’ve just got an induction and I’m shocked by its power.

The oven looks like a combi microwave. Does that seem likely?

Ooft. Looks like the manual will be written using a chisel!

No one would peel off the sticker. If she is in a flat, get them to go to the next flat and see if anyone is there, they will probably have the same oven they can look at.

Honestly, make sure they check the door too not just the oven. A serial sticker is hard to remove even very old appliances still have the sticker on it.

Well done, @sixeightfive !

Oooh, google lens kept showing me microwave combi links...I thought it was showing me microwaves! @sixeightfive thanks ever so much.

I haven't cooked on electric for many years, so maybe it is just old & shit compared to what we're used to.

Ds said he couldn't even do a decent stir fry in first year as the electric hobs were completely useless, only one ring gave out any sort of heat and it was one of the back ones. Same style as your DD's with the rubber top. When she has a minute get her to try to boil water on the different rings to see which one is best. Ds had the exact same issue that his pasta took forever on the little ring.

I knew from the symbols on your DD's oven that it wasn't a normal oven. We have a combi microwave that we use as a mini oven if we are using the air fryer as well.

Glad it is sorted. It is something I always recommend to parents/uni starters to take a photo of the serial number of any appliance in the kitchen so they know how to work it from the manual you can find online.

I'm visiting in a few weeks so I'll fiddle with it then if they haven't cracked it. I don't really understand the manual after a quick look - it's not like a fan oven?

There is another one - I'll get her on with finding serial numbers in the morning & find instructions for that one.
