Travelodge Stockport

Have foolishly booked this assuming the P on the website meant it had parking. Turns out it means there is a paid car park somewhere in the vicinity 😡

A colleague just mentioned that it's a really dodgy area and I'm really anxious now, will be travelling alone, Saturday to Sunday.

Please tell me how bad it really is and if you have any recommendations of where to park. Thank you!!

Heaton Lane Car park will be your closest - it’s a bit run down looking but I’ve never had any problems there. Are you going to be coming and going late in your car? The bigger, better lit NCP car parks might feel safer for that, though you’d then have a further walk to the travel lodge. It’s not the fanciest area but it’s fine

Thanks for that. Yes I think closer might e better.... I'll be arriving at the hotel around 10pm I think. 🙁
