How can I hide my bag (office)

I share a small office with two other people. There is nowhere to put my bags other than on the floor (between my chair and the wall), and as my desk is by the door they're really visible when people walk in. My under desk drawers are too small.

Any ideas how I can hide them / screen them / put them in something?! What do other people do?

We all leave our personal belongings dotted all over the place at work and in 14 years I’ve not heard of anything going missing, apart from someone’s cake from the fridge once or twice! We do actually have lockers we could use but no-one does.

Do you not trust your colleagues?

Ask the company to provide lockers. Unfortunately stuff does get stolen, even from desk drawers unless you keep them locked. My locker always had spare shoes, a jacket, often a change of clothes if I was going somewhere other than home after work. and any shopping I had managed to do in my lunch break.

Are you concerned about security or just people falling over them?

Could you put a removable (e.g. 3M) hook in the wall?

Is it because you don’t want your bag on the floor? You could get a large bag for life and put it under your desk and then place your bag in it.

Hook on the back of your chair? The chair itself will then hide the bag?

I just put it on the floor under my desk, or leave it on my desk.

Sorry for delayed response, went out straight from work.

So it's nothing to do with colleagues / not trusting them, we get external people passing and I think it looks unprofessional. Prefer not under table as it's open / no sides so still can be seen.

I do hang it on a hook now but it's next to a radiator which will be coming on soon!

Was hoping someone would have a magical solution...

I have over door hooks in our office where I put my coat etc. Before that I used my bottom drawer. Is your office big enough to add a coat stand/chair or a table you could put it on/ behind? Or get a hook attached to your desk? Could you change to a smaller bag and leave a few bits in your desk that you might need?
