Im meant to be on a diet and...

Today I've had 2 biscuits and shared a pizza hut meal with dh, mil and ds. Not a great diet is it ?!?

I can exercise loads but when it comes to diet I'm so rubbish. Why is food so moreish

Doesn't sound too horrendous to me... depends what was in the meal and what else you ate during the day. As for two biscuits... unless they were those huge supermarket bakery chocolate chips cookies, they probably didn't even have that many calories.

Think of it as a lifestyle change rather than a diet. Aim to eat better most of the time rather than denying yourself the occasional biscuit and pizza. If you are overweight a few biscuits and a shared Pizza Hut meal didn’t make you that way and it won’t destroy your efforts either. It’s one rainy day in what could be a long sunny summer.

It’s an attitude change needed, think about health just as much as the way you look, plus if you look at how much exercise is needed to burn calories it’s really a lot it’s where many mess up. So pizza is not the work of the devil but if for instance you normally eat 3 slices, well you just have 2, or 2 have 1. It’s a way of life to be slim. Don’t think diet think this is a healthier choice. I had a roast dinner last night but it was small. I have a massive incentive to be slim and that is type 2 diabetes is so prevalent in my family. Just had my annual check up and it was very good.

I really need to lose 10lbs. It's so hard when I have a social life that involves eating!
