Any Bristol folk around? Parking question!

I'm having dinner in Clifton tomorrow night and need to bring the car... is all the on-street parking now residents' permit only? Or is there still some parking that you can pay for? I need to be able to park as close to Clifton Village as I can, as I have a guest who cannot walk very far (no blue badge though).

Thank you Bristolians!

Hi there. It’s mixed. Often roads have one side residents only and one both residents and park at metre. The easiest road to find something in my opinion is college road. One side you can park. The walk to the actual village is not far.

Oh if you’re coming for dinner, I think after 6 you can park most places as I think it’s permit during work hours. I think college road is also free after 6

A lot of parking is residents or pay and display, with a flat rate of ( I think) £4.50 from 1800 until midnight, £6.00 1800-0900.. Also applies on Sunday's. Don't forget there's a low emission zone as well, very easy to stray into it.

Look on parkopedia Clifton village and press on street. It will show you the cost for different on street. There is quite a bit free. The side by Clifton college is free. Actually in the village may not be

Thank you… seems like there are a few options then! I’ve not heard of parkopedia before, but that looks really useful

thanks all

Ooh I love Clifton Village - where are you dining OP?

When I went we parked by the college for free. A short stroll in but lots of nice houses to ogle at!
