Alone in Jersey for a day...

I've got a day to myself in Jersey next month before husband flies out to meet me for a weekend. He'll want to do 'war history' stuff.

Any recommendations for stuff for me to do on my own for a day? I like walking, swimming (October though...brrr), art, museums, bit of shopping, nice lunch. I'll be based in St Helier

Go to the tapestry museum in st helier. It's attached to the maritime museum which is ok but quite long. The tapestry bit is really interesting.
Walk around the harbour looking at all the yachts.
Walk along the water front towards st Aubins. There's a lovely cafe not far from st helier called the look out. Seves good food.
