Preschool kids party invites? How early?

Just wondering if there is a general rule as to how far in advance to send out invitations?

We’ve only had 2 other so far and one was given a week before which felt very last minute to me 😅 and the other given almost 2 months before which feels a bit excessive?!

Party is last weekend in October. When would you send the invitations?

I always do a month before.

4-6 weeks before seems to be the usual thing. I suspect the one given with a week’s notice was more a family party and they didn’t actually care if preschool friends came or not!

Thanks. We actually go away next week for 2 weeks so it’s either hand out today or on 6th Oct 😅 so I’ll get them out today!
