How many cups of tea a day ?

Out of curiosity , I've kept dh tea bags he's had from 2pm til now ( 8.50 pm ) it's 7 so roughly 1 per hour !
He probably had 4 or 5 this morning plus another in a cafe so I reckon he's had at least
13/14 cups .
I say that's a lot but he doesn't think so .
As well as that he's also had a glass of juice , he doesn't take sugar just milk , he's not had any water .
Is it a lot ?

I drink 25-30 tea and coffees a day so sounds good to me 😂

Not too much fluid no. I’ve had one cup of tea today but plenty of other soft drinks.

mine is 0.5L and I drink at least 6 a day…

How is he not awake all night? Any more than 3 or 4 in a day and I can't sleep

My mothers kettle is never cold. She probably has a cup an hour unless she’s out.

i have 3 a day usually. 4 at the v most.

I thought I drank a lot of tea! It sounds a lot to me.

I'd say I have about nine cups a day. Non negotiables are first thing, lunchtime, as soon as I get in from work and 8pm. Others fit in depending on what I've got on. First thing I have an absolutely massive cup.

I have to switch to decaf after 3pm though otherwise it affects my sleep.

Coffee when I wake up, then another to take on the school run.

Cup of tea while I work.

Cup of tea after lunch.

Cup of coffee mid-afternoon.

Cup of coffee for school run.

Cup of tea after dinner.

Cup of tea if I’m working in the evening.

Cup of herbal tea if I’m chilling.

That’s loads.

I’ve had 1 coffee and 3 teas today. All cups not mugs. That’s an average day for me

Recently, I’ve been having 2 cups of coffee in the morning, 1-2 green teas during the day and about 3x low fat hot chocolates in the afternoon/evening.

About 5 earl grey teas a day. Don’t like builders. Sometimes 3/4 nescafes. Sometimes 1 or 2 espressos. Lots of water.

Mugs are le crueset (sp) ones 350ml although to be fair he leaves a little at the bottom . He does wee alot !

As long as it doesn’t affect his sleep it sounds fine to me and could even be good for him.

I have a pint mug. I’ll likely have one black tea with milk and sugar and two camomile teas across the day. Also a huge, milky latte every day without fail

You've counted his teabags , why? Leave the poor bugger alone to drink his tea in peace!

I drink anything from 2-8 a day , Red bush or Earl Grey.

On waking earl grey
With breakfast decaffeinated Azurra
Mid afternoon sometimes tea.
Pre dinner pepsi max
Post dinner sometimes tea.

I do drink a couple of pints of water to swallow my pills three times a day.

I don't drink enough I expect.

2 or 3 cups of tea a day, max. I never drink coffee.

I have 6-8, big mugs though.

Unfortunately I don't drink coffee. I say unfortunately because I love the idea and love the smell, and even like coffee cake and chocolates, just not the actual drink!

I'm v fussy about my tea but 3 per day is my absolute limit. Mainly 2. Any more and I get 'tea tummy' when I just feel so full of tea! Odd? Yes, I know!

If I’m with my mum then I might have a tea in the afternoon.

Don't like coffee so 4-5 large mugs of tea every day. Once upon a time they had 3 teaspoons of sugar, now none.

I’m exactly the same about coffee!

4 cups a day here - waking up, an hour or two late then one before lunch and one after.

Seems like a lot but if he can handle it…!

I’m similar - a mug of tea every hour! Very weak black tea (no sugar), so almost hot water tbf.
