Making dd1 a scrap book of this year's 18th birthday year of gigs seemed like a really fun idea when I first suggested it (at the end of January 🙈).

I'm still stuck on my pre-gig 1 visit to Pit and Pendulum in Nottingham, that we discovered on Tik-Tok and decided to go and find.

Can I have some help, please?! Any suggestions to improve these pages? The cocktail menus are stuck, as are the photos on the left page, but not the ones on the right.

Put a mat on the other photos to help them stand out from the page. It's a very busy page and that might help it a bit.

Put a mat on the photos. Can you make a waterfall and have journalling under the photo and ticket stubs peeking out

@BloodandGlitter yes! It is...we've introduced a few of dd's friends to it too (none convinced until we actually took them there). Bonus points, for me, for being across from The Bodega! Both entirely new to me at the start of the year & like old haunts now. I made someone scream last time we were there, by coming out of the toilets when when she was looking for them 🤣.

@Plonkydonkey I'll have a look for a waterfall tutorial and see how easy it is!

It's a layer of card behind a photo to make it pop. Waterfall is easier than it looks.
