How many viewers would you expect in the first few days?

Our home went on the market on Tuesday mid Afternoon.
We have 3 viewings booked. Another booked but cancelled.
Is this a normal number? It seems a little low to me. I’m worried that we won’t get any others.
It’s been 12 years since we last sold so I can’t recall what is a normal number and I tend to worry more than I should but it is such a stressful time.

How many viewings would you expect or how many did you have booked in the first 48-72 hours?

TIA

It really depends on where you are and how hot the market is in your area. Neighbour sold in 7 days but only 6 viewings (high price bracket for area) but was led to believe there would be many more viewers. We had 18 viewings and took 4 weeks to generate an offer (mid range price for area). Best friend sold to the first viewer, so on the market for 1 day but no other viewing picked at that point, again higher price bracket and was told it was a tricky sell due to the rural area. Another friend who lives quite far and in an area where properties aren't moving well has had 2 viewings in 4 months for a first time buyer/BTL/AirBB type property in a popular tourist destination.

Thank you so much, PoshJock. I really appreciate your response and we’ve just received a written offer which we’ve accepted so the worry is(mostly) over.
