My school hating, ND child just told me he loves his new class (year 6) and then he VOLUNTARILY did his homework...only two weeks in so I expect it may not last but it's the first time he has ever said anything positive about school and generally homework doesn't get done due to the extreme fallout/meltdown. I could cry!

Thank you! I've been so anxious about him going back, particularly as it's the last year before "big school". I was so surprised as it came from nowhere and I'm so thrilled he's not having a miserable time every day!
