What to do in Paris with teenagers?

I will be taking two teenagers to Paris in November. We’re staying in a hostel near the Colone Fabien Metro station.

We’re planning on going up the Eiffel Tower and on a river boat trip on the Seine. Does anyone have any other ideas for day or evening - bonus points if not too expensive.

We arrive late Friday and leave early Monday, so have all day/evening Saturday and all day/evening Sunday to fill.

My teens love the Marais (especially on a Sunday) - good vibe and fun shops and cafes (and falafel!). Musée Carnavalet in the Marais is definitely fun to check out - covers the history of Paris and is a) fascinating and b) free so if they moan then you won’t have wasted money on tickets.
The Musée d’Orsay they also enjoyed a lot. The restaurant there is glorious! (The main restaurant not the cafe I mean)

My daughter loved the film “Mrs Harris went to Paris” so we’re planning to go to the Dior museum. This post is so helpful though, I’ve made a list of lots of things for us to do when we visit next year

The Pompidou Centre is closing the end of September for a refurb.
Id suggest eating at one of the Bouillons, beautiful interiors. L’As du Falafel in thé Marais is good. Canal St Martin for trendiness.

You can travel from the Tour Eiffel to the Musée d’Orsay by RER, usually on a double-decker train, which kids and teens may like! A metro card will cover RER journeys in the centre too as well as the metro.

Yes! Mine loved this especially as there were buskers with saxophones and accordions on the train. They loved the Musée D’Orsay and Napoleon’s tomb was a hit.

So much to do! Took our 15 year old just before Covid, he loved the city. Particularly the hop on/off bus tour, night boat trip on the Seine, Montmartre, the Louvre, Notre Dame, a trip on a double decker train to Versailles and just walking along the banks of the river in the evenings, it’s so lively.

Took my 18yr old daughter this year. We loved Galeries Lafayette and its roof top view. We also enjoyed the Dior museum. Eifel tower by night was stunning as well. We did spend time just walking and grabbing a drink/crepe and people watching.
