691 as my first ‘yellow’ took me down a completely different path.

I’ve never tried this puzzle before. Today I have a 54% answer but no idea where to go from there. Can anyone give me general tips on how you approach this?

So 54 is a pretty low number out of 1000, but showing in the right direction. I’d then try words that might come in a similar category, as you get higher hits refine it down more until you get another hit and so on.

Sorry the 54 was the temperature so it was 996. So I just try similar words? It seems like such a hard puzzle as literally every word is available.

Yes, if that’s the temp you are very close and you just need to try words that are similar.

@friendsDisUnitedis 54 the decimal number (under 🌡️) or the “hot words” number by the yellow/orange progress bar?
Today 54🌡️ is very nearly there but 54/1000 is quite far off (although the TARGET word today is what is done with 54s)
