Is it just me or has this game become more difficult lately?

@Berlinlover the words are certainly getting more uncommon. Pretty sure at the start all the target words were from a list of 1000 or so commonly used words. Some of the recent words have been a bit more unusual (not “graham” unusual but weird endings on words or archaic usage etc)

Yesterday’s word definitely gave me a hard time because it’s such a convolution. However, I think each day is different and I honestly wonder how people get the words in 20-30 guesses. I’ve started to try and narrow it down using categories of words and then narrow through random guesses. Some days I need clues and some days (ok, today) I get on the podium.

I’m either on the podium with 20-30 guesses or spend half an hour with 300. Sometimes (like today) I just get lucky with hardly any hot words and others I hop round the top ten and can’t crack it.

I have 143, 251, and 853. Any help greatly appreciated!
