Unexpected things that have made you smile

Well here's some you don't hear every day on MN.
Just received an email from school about DC12's behaviour yesterday.
Apparently he was spotted, by several staff members, being kind and helping Y7s, who were feeling a bit lost around the school.
(He took one of them to the right building for their next lesson, saying I know what it feels like!)

Could do with some light-hearted cheerful stuff as an antidote to the bitter stuff that's going on.

How lovely. I am an ex-teacher and used to email parents occasionally with lovely stuff about their kids. It's nice to say something good.

Seeing a pudgy man in a full Spiderman suit getting thrown out of a Tesco in Liverpool by a security guard who couldn't quite keep a straight face.

Jokingly wrote “present for me” on the shopping list I sent DP this morning, forgot all about it until he walked in just now with some beautiful flowers! 🥰

How adorable, how proud you must be!

My DD (25 months) told my DS (7 months) 'I love you' and gave him a hug 🥺 for the first time today
