This morning’s key fiasco… thanks, neighbour!

Oh No Ugh GIF

So, I had one of those mornings where nothing goes quite right. Left the house in a rush, only to realize halfway down the street that I’d forgotten my keys.
Cue my lovely neighbor, who just happened to be outside. Saved me from standing there like a complete idiot while trying to figure out Plan B. Felt super awkward, but honestly, what else could I do? I ended up laughing about it… eventually.
Anyone else have those “why me?” moments first thing in the morning?

Don’t worry, we’ve all had mornings like that. Better it happened close to home than halfway to work or school drop-off!

Definitely had those mornings. I once drove halfway to work before realizing I still had my slippers on. Mondays seem designed for chaos.

Oh yes, been there! I once locked myself out while taking the bins out in pajamas—no phone, no keys, just me looking ridiculous on the driveway. Luckily a neighbor had a spare key, but I wanted the ground to swallow me up. At least it makes for a funny story afterwards!

Haha, oh no, that sounds exactly like the kind of thing that would happen to me too! At least your neighbor came to the rescue—funny how these cringe moments turn into the best stories afterwards.

Love it—sounds like something I’d do. Mondays should come with a warning label!

I reckon some people must deliberately buy vans rather than cars, that they don't otherwise need, purely because the roof is then too high to put stuff on it, forget about, get in and drive off Grin
