Didn't want to derail the other thread, but is this something normal people do or just my ex?

I have never done this. Surely you still feel the need to wipe afterwards?!

AhBiscuits · 04/09/2025 20:29

Not as a regular thing but I have done it in the past when in the midst of a horrific cold.

Rightandwrong · 04/09/2025 20:42

It's never ever even crossed my mind to do this!

B0bbingalong · 04/09/2025 20:43

When I have a bad cold always, the only way I can shift it from my chest is to have hot water running over my back. Ordinarily, no

thistimelastweek · 04/09/2025 20:47

I've never had to. I've never even noticed till now, despite being quite old with many years of snot free showering under my belt
Food for thought.

aspidernamedfluffy · 04/09/2025 20:49

Only after a massive sneeze.

BrickBiscuit · 04/09/2025 21:08

Yes, I do.

AngularMerkin · 04/09/2025 21:09

My DH does, I find it repulsive 🤢

charlieandthechocolatfactory · 04/09/2025 21:13

My mum says to stop

Are you married to my ex? He had weird knees and a porn addition

SliceofTosst · 04/09/2025 22:03

Yes. The heat of the shower seems to make my nose a bit runny.

JamMakingWannaBe · 04/09/2025 22:54

The biggest glob of snot I've ever produced in my life came out of my nose in MIL's shower. I had a raging cold / sinus infection and it was gross.

Someone once told me they stuck a soapy finger up their nose to clean it each day. He was adamant you needed to!
