Belmond Pullman murder mystery for anniversary - anyone been?

Looking to do something special for our 10 year wedding anniversary. Going on the Belmond Pullman train has always been something we’ve wanted to do. Has anyone been on the murder mystery one? It looks good, just worried if it might be a little naff but hoping some MN’ers might have been and can advise! Thank you

Yes we went for my Dh birthday last year. It was wonderful!!! My Dh actually solved the murder mystery ant the end and won a prize ( to be fair he does solve a lot of puzzles/problems for a living). It was well acted and thought out and we had a lunch and drinks during the whole day. Most if not all people dressed up. I would thoroughly recommend it.

Thank you for the replies. Am I right in thinking you don’t get off the train at all and you’re in it for around 5 hours? Im guessing it must be good if you’re entertained for that length of time?

I’ve been and loved it so much I’m going again. It flew by! The food and wine was amazing and the whole experience was super fun.

I would say you need to be the sort of people who are happy to throw yourselves into murder mysteries, engaging with actors and dressing up, or it may not be for you (but I think the Pullman does other non theatrical trips too).
