What to wear on a night out dancing?!

I'm in my late 40s and I'm going to a 90's disco. Not dressing for the theme, what do people wear on a night out dancing now? I'm a size 18 and normally wear long dresses but that doesn't feel right for this. What would you wear?!

what i suggest is have a look on utube !! that will you some ideas have a chat with some of your friends for ideas you could alter one of your long dresses BUT ultimately don't worry how you look and ENJOY
