Talk to me about countertop dishwashers

countertop dishwasher, worth it or not? Family of 5 nearly 6 and absolutely fed up with the washing up and our landlord (we rent) has said no to fitting a dishwasher. Unless there is a way for us to have one fitted in secret and removed when we leave but how much would that cost?
Anyway, countertop ones. Are they decent enough sized? Or a waste of time?

My dd has one similar to this. The landlord agreed that a hole could be drilled through the work top to connect the plumbing.

It’s ok for one or two people but not much fits inside. There is a 30 minute program on hers so you could do a quick turnaround.

It has taken up a useful counter space but worth it for her.
