I'm soon going to be going from Manchester to Derby and back again in a taxi and have been told the driver taking me will wait around and then bring me home as there would be no point for him to drive to Derby, back to Manchester then back to Derby and back to Manchester so he would just 'hang around'
Thing is I'm going to a show and it runs for two hours then afterwards there is a meet and greet so that will probably add another hour or so onto it, so say three and a half hours.
Been quoted £280 for the return trip, how much would you tip him for waiting around for three and a half hours? I generally just tell them to keep the change so have no idea!
