A pint of beer

Snakebite and black. Maybe that's not common any more? I think it got banned in the pubs in my town.

Anything involving a spirit liqueur like Malibu or Sambuca

CracklingFlames · 01/09/2025 21:00

Lager & black

letsstartwithlife · 01/09/2025 21:00

Blingismything · 01/09/2025 21:08

Guinness

Timeforatincture · 01/09/2025 21:14

It was called a purple nasty in my home town. Half cider, half lager, with a ribena shot. Never ordered one but served several.

mdinbc · 01/09/2025 21:16

Actually most mixed drinks. I'm a cider gal, which is my standard order.

minipie · 01/09/2025 21:17

Don’t think I’ve ever ordered anything except wine or G&T. Occasional cider.

I do drink cocktails and spritzes but not in a pub!

CeciliaDuckiePond · 01/09/2025 21:18

Any kind of shots. Never saw the point of them at all.

I was mainly a real ale or wine drinker before I had to pack in drinking. Very occasionally spirits, but always as a long drink with a mixer.

RightOnTheEdge · 01/09/2025 21:29

LemondrizzleShark · 01/09/2025 22:33

Ex-barmaid. I have never drunk a lager top, a shandy, a pale and mild, or that one with whisky and stone’s ginger wine. Or a white wine spritzer, though I have drunk sangria which is obviously fairly similar.

Bailey’s and coke always used to make me want to vomit when customers ordered it… half the time they actually meant a Tia Maria and coke and had ordered the wrong thing. But the rest of the time they did actually want a drink that looked like curdled brains.

Starseeking · 01/09/2025 22:36

Gin and tonic
Pint of beer
Pint of Guinness

Hayley1256 · 01/09/2025 22:40

I don't think I've ordered a glass of wine for myself in a pub

Whisky and Stone’s Ginger Wine - Whisky Mac to me. A great warmer after skiiing in the Cairngorms. Thanks for triggering the memory.

RedRiverShore5 · 01/09/2025 22:43

Beer

Guernseypots · 01/09/2025 22:44

whiskey.

Goldenboysmum · 01/09/2025 22:51

Wine, I like it with a meal but wouldn't drink it otherwise.

Vodka, gives me a migraine. Can't even drink it in a cocktail.

Gin, hate the smell of it, same with pernod, but I'll have gin in a cocktail

Other than that I'll drink/try anything

FairyBatman · 01/09/2025 23:20

Anything with red bull (tastes like medicine) cider and black or larger and lime 🤮have tried everything else mentioned though.

AnOldCynic · 02/09/2025 18:09

@LemondrizzleSharkhas got me at Bailey’s and coke (ordered intentionally or otherwise).

gingercat02 · 02/09/2025 18:11

Gin and tonic or gin or tonic. Both disgusting

mindutopia · 02/09/2025 18:11

Wkd.

I don’t drink anymore, but I saw they now make an AF one and I’ve been on the hunt for it as I feel I missed a cultural experience in my youth.

Dabberlocks · 02/09/2025 18:17

Rum & anything. Can't abide the stuff. A short-lived boyfriend liked pernod. Ew. To him and the drink. Especially since he pronounced it purr-nodd.

Snakebite and black here. Never tried it or snakebite.

Anything with bacardi, Baileys, or pernod in it. Whisky.

Any fruit flavoured cider
