How does the daily mail comment section allow racist, sexist comments to stand.

I posted outlining that immigration problems didn't start in the past year.
That hotel contracts were signed in 2019.
That reform despise the protesters in reality because there not their kind of people IE multi millionaires and they're being used as cannon fodder to do the dirty work.
There won't be civil war as that's an agenda the extreme right have pushed for decades and lastly the British people are being pitted against eachother.
Funnily enough it disappeared but racist comments plus comments inciting racial hatred, civil war are allowed.
The sexism is unreal and the comments could only come from women haters.

It amazes me how many people on here who hate the Daily Mail spend their time reading it, let alone the comments section which has always been like a vipers nest.

Because racism and sexism have to be challenged, Searchlight monitors extreme far right groups and exposed them.
These groups will exploit the weak willed and easily led.

Tbf I don’t understand why Mumsnet allows the anti trans posts to stand on here. Yes, they are anti trans despite what you think

Saying that someone with a dick isn't a woman is not anti trans, it is stating biological fact.

But we have digressed.

All newspaper comments sections are utterly toxic, as is Twatter (used to be left wing and toxic AF and now it's right wing and still toxic AF). I only read them if I want to be depressed about the state of humanity, or enjoy Gammons losing their minds about the BBC showing the women's rugby world cup live.

Another Daily Mail reader moaning about the Daily Mail 🙄

It's shit rag but if you insist on funding it, you get what you're giving.

Summerhillsquare · 01/09/2025 18:58

They generally move 'em straight to the front page, don't they?

Rallentanda · 01/09/2025 19:06

Are you kidding? The DM THRIVES on those comments. It shows advertisers that there's engagement with the stories. They use the numbers to make cold hard money from outrageous bigots.
