Can any Etsy sellers help me please (tariff related)

Are there any Etsy sellers who can me please

I send large letters to the USA via Royal Mail, although I stopped a couple of weeks ago because of the tariffs. I want to reopen, and I’m going to increase the price of postage to include the tariff and fees

I read that we need to let the customers know that the tariffs have been paid. How are people doing that. The options I can think of are
1 Shop announcement
2 A graphic on every individual listing (I’ve got over 100 listings so it would take a while, but obviously I’ll do it if necessary)
3 Sending message after they’ve paid

Maybe all 3. I just wondered what other people are doing and what do I say?

my other stupid question is are the tariffs and fees paid to RM when I buy postage?

I’m struggling with all this so much and would really appreciate any help

There's really no need to tell the customer. If you send DDP then their experience won't be any different from how it used to be.
(the problem - until etsy collects tarrifs separately - is refunds - you don't want to be refunding the cost of the tarrifs - so say that refunds will be minis the cost of tarrifs in your policies/FAQs)

But in the short term with so much uncertainty, nervous customers might be nudged into purchasing if they knew they weren't going to have to pay an unknown fee on delivery.

I'd suggest your shop announcement, FAQs and add a graphic to a handful of listings a week untill they're done.

Say
Attention US customers! Your import tariffs are covered in your shipping costs. No extra fees to pay on delivery!

Yes, when you buy postage on royal mail website, you pay the tarrif and postage costs together.

Thank you so much @LighthouseTeaCup That's perfect! I think I’ve overthought this so much, I just couldn’t get my thoughts straight
