If you’re on HRT can you help please?

I’ve been on sequential Utrogestan and 50mg Evorel patch for a month. So far, so good.

However since my period came this week, I’ve had awful headaches, in varying types! Sometimes the pain is up my neck and round my ear, then it’s behind my eyes and other times the back of my head. I’ve had nausea and generally feeling crap too. Period has been unusually heavy for me and I’m on day 7 now.

Has anyone experienced anything like this since being on HRT?

Id love some insights. Thanks

Utrogestan taken orally makes me feel ill and nauseous. I swapped to taking it vaginally instead and the nausea/illness went away almost immediately.

See I was fine when I was on the utrogestan. It’s been since having the two weeks off and my period coming that it has started.

Thanks ☺️ I’ve suffered from hormonal headaches from time to time but this is on another level.

Silly question but, how do you administer it that way, so to speak!

Strange thing is I was fine when I was taking it for the two weeks. The headaches started when my period did during the two weeks off 🤷‍♀️

Might be worth asking to get this moved to the Menopause board

Nobody seems to answer on there either 😬
