Knickers for a mature woman!!!!!!

Ok , so I am 'mature' woman shall we say....
I am a small build size 8 118 Ibs. I now have a 'flat' bum, or rather much flatter bum than I used to have when younger. All my knickers, perhaps b/c there's not much to grab onto now, keep going up my bum (I know you'll get this ladies). Its so so annoying. As well as the embarrassment of pulling them out of my backside when im walking along, it's uncomfortable too. I have triedsomany types of knickers. Can anyone recommend any that might suit? E.g. good coverage , (no thongs!) and ones that will stay in place.

I’m having the same problem. I’m in M and S size 6 knickers (the shorts ones, they used to be called midi) and they’re ‘ok’ but if I’m wearing a high waisted jean then they are still forced up my crack.

but most of the time they’re fine. So go as small a size as you can in knickers and as wide as you can, shorts or full briefs/female boxers

I’ve got a skinny flat bum, I second M&S shorts, although I’ve recently got some from Asda and think they’re better.

Redrosesposies · 01/09/2025 22:03

Asda midi (as M&S now only do the shorts type)
I preferred the high legs but got fed up of them bunching up the bum crack.

Whatachliche · 01/09/2025 22:03

you need shorts, absolute game changer.

Whatachliche · 01/09/2025 22:03

Boody.

Have different styles so you can get as much coverage as you wish! Not cheap but mine have lasted several years so far.

I find that stripe and stare are great.

Agree with M&S issues. The gusset constantly moves, even with the massive granny pants. I can't bear shorts as I feel so restricted around my legs.

What happened to midi briefs. Everytime I go into M&S I can't find them?

I've just bought some Brazilians, I hated them for years but seem to be working now.
I'm also mature with prolapses.

lovenotwar149 · 02/09/2025 09:36

Done - wirarpa knickers (or rather boxers!!) are coming on Friday!!!!! Looking forwards to walking around and NOT having knickers up ma bum bum!!! Loool!! Thx again ppl xx

It’s been an issue since bloody Brazilian cut became a thing in the UK IMO, most styles are now routinely cut away too much at the back (you can see it even on the models) and bloody uncomfortable.

letshavetea · 23/11/2025 18:35

Chantelle knickers are amazing

Claymoreiron · 23/11/2025 18:39

Sloggi Maxi. Up to the waist, low leg. Wash well.

BlueEyedBogWitch · 23/11/2025 20:10

The best knickers I’ve found recently are by a company that wore me down on Instagram called Venetian Lace.

They are so comfortable, and they just don’t budge once on. No hungry bum, no migrating into my 25-year-old c-section scar, no falling down. I love them.
