Neilson summer holiday equivalent with cooler weather

I’d love to take the kids on a Neilson holiday but we’re tied into going in the school holidays (so July & August) and I’m worried that as all their resorts are in southern Europe it’s going to be too hot at that time for an activity holiday, based off the last few summers of 35+ degree temps. Ideally we’d like to go for 10 days - 2 weeks so half terms aren’t long enough and I think at Easter we’d have the opposite problem of it not being warm enough.

Does anyone know of any Neilson type equivalents that are in locations that are slightly cooler at that time of year?

No helpful ideas unfortunately but following to see if there are any cheaper options! Loved Neilson holidays in the past but now we are tied to school holidays I just can't justify the cost...

There’s a Club Med on the Atlantic coast of France that might fit the bill so long as you don’t mind a French heavy crowd.

I don’t mind a French heavy crowd for me but I wonder whether that might mean the kids won’t have the same social-side of things as they’d get on a Neilson holiday. We’ve not been on one but have heard that one of the best things about them is all the friends the kids make. Their French is very basic school-level so not nearly good enough to converse properly in 😔

They’ll be 12 and 14 years old next summer.

Would a holiday to the French alps work? Alpine elements do holidays with activities included, though its usually chalet type holidays rather than big hotels

It would, and I have actually thought about that, but the reason the Neilson holidays in particular appealed was because of the group activities and social side for the kids, which I know my two would absolutely love at their age. An Alps holiday seems like more of a family thing, which is fine as I do love doing stuff with just the four of us, but I was hoping to try something different next year.
