I know I should probably post on beauty but slow boards and all...

Does anyone use Korean skincare products? I'm really interested to find out if they are as good as people say, what brands are best and if they really do help with anti aging (I'm late 30s and need some help!)

Please tell me everything!!!

Love cosrx currently trialing Yepoda love the products but think I might be allergic (I’m allergic to lot skin care).

I love Korean skin care it is pretty and fun and I am usually not allergic to it. I know fundamentally you can’t beat washing your face with head and shoulders and slapping on Nivea - but where is the fun in that?

Too many products can bog the skin down. So I would say less is more but use high quality (no-one needs a 15 step skincare routine).

Just to report back...kind of love Korean skincare! I bought a travel kit of Salwahoo (a ginseng one) and it makes my face feel lovely. I do feel some products in the set are better than others.

Also tried a travel kit of skin 1004 which I love and then a serum, mask and eye cream of beauty of Joseon.

I would say on the whole it's improved my skin greatly. I wouldn't say it give the glass skin but from someone who has always cleansed, toned and moisturised (and spf'd) i have noticed an improvement.

Would love to hear about any individual products that people love so I can try too!

Great to hear!

Yes! I bought the Boots K Beauty box last month (the old one. The newer one seems less value for money with fewer full size products).

I've loved the double cleanse, Reedle Shot 100 mask and Biodance face mask. I've since bought snail serum, a bottle of the Reedle Shot 300 and the collagen Biodance masks. My skin is so soft and glowy! I will add toner, essence etc when my old products run out.

I also feel like a complete chump for enduring western sunscreen for decades. I'm a runner, so I always ended up with greasy sticky skin, stinging eyes, and white patches on my clothes where I've sweat it off. Korean sun screen feels so light.

Best of all, the products are actually pretty affordable compared with the likes of Elemis, Estee Lauder, Clinique etc. I'm a convert!
