I know that might sound dramatic but it's as bad as you might think.. People selling the most horrific child abuse videos openly, Posting videos and pictures in the chat, People with child abuse images as their profile pictures, trading it, asking for it. People offering their own kids for money, Been to the police twice who said they would look into it but this was over a year ago and it's still there, They have also opened another site which is doing the exact same thing.

Also reported to internet watch foundation and another I can't remember the name of now.

Owner of the site doesn't care and refuses to do anything about it. It WAS a normal chat site for many years but was taken over by these users that post this shit literally all day and night.

If not the FBI is there anywhere else that will take me seriously? Site is USA based which is why the FBI came into my head..

No idea, but I’d strongly advise you to delete any history of web searches, or personal hits on the page and just remove yourself and stay well away

Yeah, just forget about it 🙄

A quick google shows you can contact FBI. Report it! Report it again to your country police so they have a record but don’t go back on the site again.

And you've chased up your report?

What is the reason they're giving for not being able to do anything about it?

I'd be asking them about the FBI and what else can be done, rather than Mumsnet.

Try here. It's the Internet crime complaint centre, which is run by the fbi. https://www.ic3.gov/
