I had mid brown wavy hair just past my shoulders and had always wanted a sleek bob. I tried lots of wigs similar to my own hair but ended up choosing a bob style with ashy blonde highlights to it.

Don’t be afraid to choose a complete contrast to your own hair rather than a poor match.

i loved my wig which I’m sure
helped me cope with the hair loss process. It made me feel the best I could in the circumstances.

Good luck with the chemo, it can be a brutal process.

Remember to ask your breast care nurse for a form to claim an allowance towards the cost of your wig.

Buy an extra liner, they tend to wear out before the four-five months you will need it for, are over.

I chose a wig that was quite close to my existing style and it allowed me to get through without my ds ever knowing I had cancer.
