Birthday present for 4 year old girl

My granddaughter will be 4 in a few weeks and I am at a loss as to what to buy her. She has so many toys already.
She's a very bright little girl who loves books, puzzles and games. She's not into dolls or traditional girly things.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Anything that your daughter really likes and plays with?

Your post emphasises girl, @WinterRoad .
I'd try thinking 'What to buy a 4-yr old?'

Instead of more toys / clutter, could you buy her tickets for something she'd enjoy - that you could potentially do together? Theatre / museum / activity (high ropes kids course?) etc?

Or if toys, something fun / big for the garden if they have one? Or a really big Lego set appropriate for her age and interest?

I hate clutter but am always happy to do to sets of Lego/Duplo and Playmobil and other similar toys that are good quality and can be added to over the years.

I've got a 4 year old and if she is anything like mine I reckon you should get her a massive set of washable felt-tip pens, and a giant pad of all different colours of paper.

How about theatre tickets or a day out?

I agree..a trip somewhere instead of stuff..maybe get something small and related so she has a tangible "present" to unwrap.

Agree with an experience not stuff for kids who already have too much stuff!

@WinterRoad , nothing wrong in being proud of your granddaughter. I was pointing it out more because the results for 'What to buy a 4-yr old girl?' and 'What to buy a 4-yr old boy?' give different results.

The girl ones tend to be pink or purple tat.
