I don't think that this has been posted elsewhere on Mumsnet and perhaps a better board might have been True Crime or Politics but hardly anybody responds to them so I'm putting it here in good faith, as it were.

I've listened to about the first hour of it and I doubt that I will get much further but really!

She seems to be treating it like some kind of celebrity interview. We have to go through endless pointless details that don't really seem to fit with being questioned by what is essentially the police.

I suppose you could say that she's just a psychopath but I find it kind of compelling. Is she completely deluded? Half deluded/half knowing?

Other people on here have qualifications in psychology, are prison officers etc and are generally better equipped to comment so I'm just opening the floor...

Funnily enough, I'm entirely unsurprised that a woman who has clearly been angling for a Presidential Pardon for months, has testified that Donald Trump barely knew Jeffrey Epstein, and what's more, there was never any such thing as a "client" list.

I suppose that's consistent with the fact that she's sitting in prison for trafficking young women to absolutely nobody at all.

I agree but I never expected her approach to be a long anecdotes about ketchup on Jeffrey Epstein's tie and the dimensions of her flat etc but then I suppose that enforces her faux naïveté.

I thought it would just be:

"Yes."
"No."
"1993."
"I do not recall."
"I was living in London."

As with all abusers, there is a history and background to why they do what they do.

in GM's case she had an abusive father followed by another abuser in JE. She has spent her entire broken, tragic existence trying to please two vile abusive men,

and now, here we go she's now trying to please another vile abusive man, what a surprise. She's attracted to vile abusive men,

yes, she wants a pardon from the POTUS so anything she says in that regard will be "well she would say that, wouldn't she".

At the end of the day she was convicted. So she has been declared guilty and there’s no debate to have.

You clearly didn't read my first point, she was brought up in a household where she was abused by her own father. People are a product of their environment background and upbringing. She was an abuser because she herself was abused. She then spent her adult life trying to please Epstein by bringing young girls to him.

If that isn't a broken tragic existence I don't know what is.

You don't know that, at all. Stop making excuses for her because she's a woman.

Provide sources for the fact she was abused by her father? Surely you could also say that about Epstein, maybe he was also abused?
