Does anyone use a saddle stool for working at a desk all day?

Random question for a Saturday morning! Recently switched from active job to desk job. Active job left me with some back problems. First few days sitting I was in agony, just not used to it. Bit better now but am still sore sitting and have to get up every hour.
In my previous work If I was sitting it was on a saddle stool, I find them really comfy and know they're better for my back, particularly the split saddle stools.
Anyway I'm now working from home and am considering investing in one but I've no experience of sitting on one all day, so does anyone recommend or otherwise have any recommendations? 🙏

I think the main manufacturer is Bambach. ?spelling! I thought about getting one for work. If I could persuade them to pay for it!

I used to, you can get one on wheels which helps too. Better than those ones you rest your knees on. Amazon it.

Yeah it was one on wheels I was thinking of. I read the knee rest ones are bad for circulation. I know the big wide saddle seats are no good for me as I get sore hips after about 20 minutes. God getting older is a blast! I'll have a look at the brand above thanks.

Have you considered aa desk that goes up and down so that you can alternate standing with sitting to work?

Yes that is also under consideration! I was just looking at them. I have a walking pad and I know some people use them whilst working. I've never tried it but I like the idea. I can feel my fitness levels have dropped since starting a sedentary job. Previously always relied on my active job to keep me fit.
