Anyone ill with stomach cramps / generally unwell?

My DH is strong as an ox and never ill. Hes 60 and on a low dose blood pressure tablet and that’s it. Hes got me worried the past day or so. Hes had pains in his stomach and says he’s very tired / exhausted but can’t sleep. He has no appetite and his stomach feels worse when he eats. He’s able to eat but his stomach feels worse when he does. He’s a bit constipated. Poo looks normal

He went to GP today. Doctor checked him over and his blood pressure was up a bit so they upped his meds a bit more and ordered bloods. This evening he says he feels a bit feverish but his temp is normal.

Any viruses around like this at the moment?

I had similar symptoms recently and it turned out to be COVID, still getting the pains weeks later even though the virus has passed now. It was agony and had multiple tests until we realised what it was. I hope he feels better soon.

This was me all week. Except my cramps were coupled with diarrhoea the first few days then constipation ever since. I’m on day 5 and starting to feel normal after eating but BM are non existent. I think it must be a bug going around but its very very odd

Woke up at some ridiculous hour this morning to stomach pain. Went back to sleep and have a bit of a fever

I think I have a bug like this now. Constipated, burping, feeling slightly nauseous and headachy. Just doing a COVID test

Thanks all, DH has just done his blood pressure on the home machine and it’s 170 / 105! It really high! Could this be making him feel so unwell? We don’t know if it’s a virus or not.
