Any London foodies about? Tasting menu (not £££) recs needed.

Off to London later this year and looking for a restaurant that does a tasting menu.

Max budget £120 per head so NOT looking for recs at the Core or Ledbury price point.

We like places that are a bit quirky and more relaxed. Not super stuffy and posh.

We've previously been to Nest (the original and the new place), Pidgin and Casa Fofo and loved all three. Looking for somewhere new.

Liking the look of Angler and also Fenchurch at the Sky Garden - has anyone been to either recently?

Also like the look of Angelina but it's a bit far out distance wise.

Any advice would be great 😊

If you like spicy food https://anglothai.co.uk/uploads/2025/08/AngloThai-Late-Summer-Lunch.pdf for lunch is 65 (125 for dinner)

Apricity

Murano is lovely.

Restaurant Story is amazing. The 9 course set menu is too far out of your price point, but they do a 5 course lunch menu for £140??

Shack Fuyu!

Thanks all.

Story is on my wish list but we already have plans in the daytime so we're definitely looking for somewhere for dinner.

Hoping to do a bit better than Six by Nico (which we've been to and it was....ok for the price).

Not convinced by the recent reviews of Apricity and not mad on the menu.

French Table in Surbiton (fast train from Waterloo)
Sticks n Sushi
Ivy Asia

Not a tasting menu but small plates. Palomar in Soho - book a seat at the bar - there are tables but not as much fun. It's so atmospheric, very welcoming and relaxed and the food is mindlblowing.

Also, the Coal Office King's Cross.
